About Us

Chemir Analytical Services, founded in 1959 (formerly named Chemir/Polytech Laboratories), is an independent laboratory that helps companies solve problems that require customized chemical analysis.

We solve difficult problems for numerous industries with our analytical, deformulation (reverse engineering), materials identification, product failure analysis, competitive product analysis, litigation support and consulting services.

The Chemir advantage brings together our experience, high quality standards and customized approach to analyze and test materials. Our scientists ask the right questions, listen to our clients and provide practical solutions. This helps them to develop customized methods for individual projects.

Our goal is to become an extension of your research, product development or quality control team. Clients come to Chemir from a broad range of industries and job functions including QA/QC professionals, CEOs and presidents, production managers, entrepreneurs and R&D specialists.

Our facility is ISO 9001 certified, cGMP compliant, FDA registered and DEA licensed.

Headquartered in Maryland Heights, Missouri, other Chemir divisions include CAS-MI, a paints and coatings laboratory and Industrial Testing Laboratories, a customized mechanical and metallurgical testing facility.
